A failure to borrow money, and hiring the wrong people is also another issue with indigenous business in Africa. Building a customer base and boosting top-line products continues to be a major concern, and sales and marketing needs the most assistance.
Despite hurdles on the path to growth, a substantial 78% of small business want to hire more staff. The future of the African economy and the future of job creation are inextricably dependent on small business. This is why small business matters, and supporting small business should be a priority for all Africans.
Ordinary citizens in respective countries can play their part by identifying and supporting local small businesses, knowing that going small has a big impact on their country’s economic future.
