Muriwo is a Zimbabwean recipe mainly served with sadza (cooked corn meal). This healthy side dish can be eaten with anything; you can mix it with rice, with braai or with pasta.
- bunch of fresh kale leaves.
- cooking oil.
- diced tomatoes ( optional).
Start of by washing your kale leaves and then cut them thinly and evenly. In a sauce pan on a medium heat, add your cooking oil and once it’s hot enough add your onions and tomatoes and fry for 5 mins. Add your kale and salt for taste and mix together, cover and let it cook on low heat for about 10-15 minutes and then remove from the heat and serve.
